Terms of Agreement and Payments
Annual registration fee is payable every year and is included in the first month fee as set out. Class fees are payable in advance per month for 11 months of the year or until the 30th of November of each year. We have month, term, and year payment options. The registration fee includes club membership as well as Limpopo Gymnastics and Gymnastics SA affiliation and annual Prize-giving. We have two different payment options: Online Card Subscription OR Manual EFT payments. More info under ‘Payments’. No reductions for classes missed due to school tours, holidays etc. One month’s written, paid notice is required if classes are to be discontinued. Failing to do this, one month’s notice fee will be charged. No verbal cancellation will be accepted. MSA reserves the right to withhold entry to competitions or suspend classes if fees are not up to date. Class fees are calculated according to the amount of hours trained and works on an average of 8 weeks of classes per term (4 terms total) Class fees are payable in advance for 11 months of the year OR from sign-up until the 30th of November of each year. (Term and year payment options are also calculated on 11 months of a year with an 8 week (average) term.) Payment Options: - Online Card Payments (payfast subscription) will grant you R50 discount per month. This works like a debit order and is automatically deducted from your account on the 1st of each month. - Manual EFT is also an option. - Strictly, NO CASH accepted.

General
Communication, Gymnast Attire, Codes of Conduct
Communication 1. The general times and dates and general communication in running of classes for Marshall Sports Academy will be communicated via Whatsapp Groups (you will be invited to join via a link) and occasionally via email as well as on our Online Management System. If you are not on Whatsapp, it is your responsibility to let the office know, so alternative means can be arranged. 2. It is your responsibility to regularly consult these Communication Channels. 3. The Academy will be closed for school and public holidays. Extra practices might be arranged, but will be communicated timeously. 4. MSA practice is to open a week after schools open and to close the same week as schools close (according to the Department of Education Calendar for Public Schools). 5. Extra practices during school and public holidays may be scheduled, where parents/guardians will be notified timeously. Gymnast attire Refer to Information Booklet. Codes of Conduct In signing this agreement, you, your child, and any family member entering the premises agree to uphold the codes of conduct and rules and regulations of Marshall Sports Academy and of the RET Centre. Code of Conduct for Gymnasts • Be on time for the start of the session. If you happen to run late, come and greet your head coach and ask for instructions instead of just falling in with the group. • Respect other gymnasts at all times and be supportive and encouraging to each other. Showcase spirit during training. We strive to create an environment of honour and growth. Any comments or behaviour detrimental to this environment will not be tolerated. • Attend all training sessions. Sessions should not be missed if gymnasts wish to improve on their performance. • Tell your coach of any injuries or illnesses you may have on arrival. • Wear suitable clothes for training. Follow the MSA attire guidelines for your discipline. • Follow the Club rules and always honour and respect appointed staff. • Listen carefully to the coaches and explicitly follow their instructions to avoid injury. • Treat all equipment with respect and only use it when told to by a coach. • Inform your head coach if you see or hear anything in the gym that you don’t like. • Stay on the RET Centre Premises at the end of a session until collected by your parent/guardian. • Do not leave the gym area during training without the consent of your coach. • Swearing or improper language and discussion of improper topics will not be accepted at MSA. • Bring a bag with water, snacks, and other necessary equipment. Level 3+ gymnasts must have their own tape, zambuck, etc. • Gymnasts’ cellphones should remain in your bag during session times. If there is an urgent need to use a phone, gymnasts should inform their coach. • When attending events on behalf of MSA, you are required to behave in a sportsmanlike manner and to encourage your team and your opponents. Code of Conduct for Parents/Guardians • Encourage a healthy lifestyle for their child. • Please let us know where possible when your child will be absent. • Share any concerns or complaints about any aspect of the club through the approved channels and not by talking to other parents. • Communicate any concerns or relevant information about your child to the coach. • Support your child’s involvement and help them to enjoy the sport. • Attend info meetings and keep yourself updated via the relevant Telegram Channels. • Always ensure that your child is dressed appropriately for the sport and brings a water bottle and snacks to training. • Use the correct and proper language at all times. • Inform the club of any changes in contact details. RET Centre Code of Conduct • Each person who enters the RET Centre: • enters at own risk; • will report at the reception of the relevant entity; • agrees to a possible search; • notes that trespassers will be prosecuted; • acknowledges that he/she enters an education zone; • agrees to abide by the protocols and norms of the RET Centre; • agrees that damaging and neglecting of property are prohibited; • agrees and notes that right of admission is reserved; • agrees to communicate and behave in an appropriate, decent and • honourable manner; and • agrees and notes that the RET Centre is a drug-free, alcohol-free, no smoking and weapons-free zone

Protection of Personal Information
By entering into this contract, and unless you at any time instruct MSA expressly and in writing to the contrary, your consent is given for MSA to: 1. Collect, store and process names, contact details and information relating to yourself and your child, and to such information being made available to other parents/guardians, staff or responsible persons engaged or authorized by MSA for MSA related purposes of managing relationships between MSA parents/guardians, and current gymnasts as well as providing references and communicating with the body of former gymnasts. 2. Include photographs, with or without names, of your child in MSA publications, or in press releases or social media to celebrate MSA’s or your child’s activities, achievements or successes. 3. Supply information and a reference in respect of your child to any educational or sport institution which you propose your child may attend. We will take care to ensure that all information that is supplied relating to your child is accurate and any opinion given on his/her ability, aptitude and character is fair. However, MSA cannot be liable for any loss you or your child is alleged to have suffered resulting from opinions reasonably given, or correct statements of fact contained, in any reference or report given by us. 4. Inform any other sports club or educational institution to which you propose to send your child of any outstanding fees.
